Part of Virginia Dare's Birthday Celebration on August 18, Music With The Queen is a short musical playlet that tells the story of the Roanoke Island colonies and the birth of Virginia Dare from Sir Walter Raleigh's perspective. The Queen's Singers, Lost Colony alumni, and current cast perform the original music from Paul Green's The Lost Colony - including Lullaby, which is sung to a real infant chosen to portray the baby Virginia Dare.

Instrumentalists, jugglers, colonist and courtiers perform throughout the Gardens.
